Our client is an established sports school located in Science Park. They are looking for a high-caliber candidate to join their expanding team.
In this role, you will:
Plan and organize SportsTech events, from start to finish, that exceed client expectations.
Develop and execute event marketing plans and promotional strategies.
Create detailed event proposals, timelines, and budgets, and track expenses.
Source and manage event vendors, including venues, catering, and entertainment.
Collaborate with clients, team members, and stakeholders to ensure seamless event delivery.
Stay up-to-date on industry trends and incorporate them into event planning.
Manage the declaration of import and export goods, ensuring compliance with all customs clearance procedures.
Handle any ad hoc duties assigned by your manager.
Do you have what it takes?
Bachelor's degree in Science, Sports Management, Event Management, Marketing, or a related field.
1+ years of proven experience in sports event planning and execution.
An undeniable passion for the sports industry and an understanding of the SportsTech landscape.
Exceptional project management, planning, and organizational skills, with a keen eye for detail.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills, capable of building lasting relationships.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, juggling multiple projects and meeting tight deadlines.
Flexibility to work long hours, including evenings and weekends, when required.
Proficiency in event management software and technology.
Experience with import/export procedures and customs clearance is highly desirable.
