Job Description:
Our client, a prominent securities firm, is looking for a dedicated IT talent to join their Information Technology team. As a pivotal player, you will actively contribute to the development, maintenance, and enhancement of their back office application systems and reporting mechanisms.
Responsibilities:
Contribute to the IT Department of a leading securities firm, spanning wealth management, brokerage, investment banking, fixed income, and asset management.
Develop, maintain, and optimize back office application systems and reporting mechanisms.
Perform daily system health checks, ensuring smooth operational functionality.
Manage and document user requests, inquiries, and vendor communications.
Troubleshoot daily system scheduled jobs to ensure seamless operations.
Actively participate in system upgrades and maintenance, contributing to system reliability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance system performance and user experience.
Stay updated with industry trends and advancements, proposing system improvements and modernizations.
Requirements:
University graduate in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related disciplines
3 to 4 years of relevant IT experience in a financial institution, preferably within the back office of a securities/futures trading company
Proficiency in SQL, C#, .NET Core, Restful API, Unix Script, and Python
Knowledge of cloud development (AKS, K8S) is a valuable asset
Self-driven and proactive with a strong sense of teamwork
Excellent analytical and communication skills, along with a passion for exploring new technologies
Proficient in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin
