Job Description:
Our client is looking for an experienced Credit Administration Manager/Senior Manager to join their team. In this crucial role, you will oversee and execute credit administration processes with precision and compliance. Your expertise will facilitate seamless loan documentation, regulatory adherence, and efficient credit operations. Responsibilities:
Prepare, review, and refine commercial/syndication loan documentation and capital market-related documentation, ensuring accuracy and adherence to internal guidelines and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with relationship managers, marketing team, and external legal counsels on non-standard loan documentation processes, effectively addressing complexities and ensuring optimal solutions.
Oversee legal and collateral documents, ensuring conditions precedent are met and conducting thorough reviews to maintain compliance.
Ensure compliance with all conditions precedents/subsequent and monitor the breach of undertakings and covenants and initiate proper actions
Properly set up credit facilities in systems and update credit limits as required, ensuring data integrity and quality on internal and external platforms (e.g. TU and/or CCRA) to attain operational excellence.
Manage documentation deficiencies, outstanding loan documents, and conditions subsequent, proactively addressing discrepancies to ensure seamless loan operations.
Perform limit/collateral management, and review LTV ratio periodically.
Drive new product development by providing valuable insights and expertise in documentation matters.
Collaborate cross-functionally to guarantee efficient credit administration operations, working closely with departments to optimize processes and mitigate operational risks.
Prepare regulatory and internal reports with accuracy and timeliness, contributing to comprehensive reporting mechanisms.
Participate in ad-hoc projects and initiatives to continuously enhance credit administration processes and controls.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Banking and Finance, Law, or related disciplines.
Proven experience in credit administration for corporate banking
Comprehensive knowledge of corporate loan, trade finance, mortgage financing, project financing, investment products, loan operations, and regulatory requirements.
Proficiency in commercial/syndication loan documentation and capital market-related documentation requirements.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills in English and Chinese, facilitating effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to work autonomously with a strong sense of responsibility.
Proven track record of risk awareness, attention to detail, and strong interpersonal skills.
Qualification in ECF preferred.
